Creative Strategies to Change Up Your Brand Videography

Changing your brand's videography can be a great way to grow your social media presence & stand out on the internet. NTP 2 Photography offers these strategies!

Are you struggling to stand out on social media and capture your audience's attention? NTP 2 Photography has got you covered! We've compiled a list of creative strategies to help you change up your brand videography and take your social media presence to the next level.

Let’s get started!

Incorporate Animation

Animation is a great way to make your videos stand out and add a touch of creativity. Whether it's animated text or graphics, incorporating animation into your brand videography can help you grab your audience's attention and keep them engaged. It's also a great way to illustrate complex concepts in a fun and engaging way.

Experiment with Different Formats

Don't be afraid to experiment with different formats for your brand videos. Try creating short, snappy videos for Instagram and longer, more informative videos for YouTube. You could also try creating vertical videos for Instagram Reels or TikTok.

Experimenting with different formats can help you find the ones that work best for your brand and audience.

Add Music

Music is a powerful tool for setting the mood of your videos and adding an emotional element. Try adding music to your brand videos to create a more immersive experience for your audience. Just make sure to choose music that fits the tone and message of your video.

On social media, music plays a huge role in the success of a video. The right “sound” is more than background noise, it can be tied to a popular format/trend going around. For the biggest impact, pick sounds that both fit your content and are also trending currently.

Use Drone Footage

Drone footage can add a unique perspective to your brand videography and give your audience a bird's eye view of your business. Whether it's showcasing your office or filming a product launch event, using drone footage can help you create stunning videos that stand out on social media.

Luckily, the photographers at NTP 2 are certified pilots... for drones at least!

Create Behind-the-Scenes Content

Creating behind-the-scenes content is a great way to give your audience a glimpse into your brand and build a connection with them. It’s all about making your brand feel relatable!

Try creating behind-the-scenes videos of your product development process, or simply bring the viewers along for a day with your team.

The Secrets of Professional Food Photography

Discover the secrets of professional food photography with NTP2 Photography of Tampa, FL. Find out how to get stretchy cheese, perfect pancake stacks, and more!

Professional food photography is a specialized field that requires a keen eye and attention to detail. Creating mouth-watering images that make viewers crave the food takes more than just a camera and some lighting. And typically, as delicious as the foods in photos appear, they are nowhere near edible.

Here the team at NTP2 will reveal the secrets to professional food photography that can take your images from yuck to yum!

Stretchy Cheese or Glue?

One of the biggest secrets to food photography is the use of glue in place of actual cheese. That’s right, glue! Glue is easier to work with and creates that perfect stringy or stretchy cheese effect that we all love to see in photos.

Perfect Pancake Stacks

Achieving the perfect pancake stack in food photography takes some skill. One trick is to use cardboard or Styrofoam in between each pancake layer to create the illusion of height and stability.

Condensation Drops and Fake Ice

Condensation drops and fake ice are two tricks that can help add depth and texture to a food photograph. For condensation drops, simply spray the glass or bottle with water before taking the photo. For fake ice, use acrylic ice cubes or gelatin cubes to create the illusion of a chilled drink or dish.

Keeping Veggies Looking Fresh

When photographing fresh vegetables, it's important to keep them looking vibrant and crisp. To achieve this, mist them with water or a light oil before taking the photo. You can also place them in ice water to keep them looking fresh.

What’s All That Steam?

Steam adds an element of realism to a photograph of hot food and makes it even more appetizing. There are many ways to achieve the look of steam here are some common ways:

  • Incense

  • A cotton ball or tampon soaked in boiling hot water

  • Clothing iron or steamer

  • E-Cigarettes

Pin(ned) Up Cheeseburger

Everyone loves a good cheeseburger, but we often see the ones in the photos look much better than the ones we get. Why’s this?

The key to a perfect burger photo is to ensure the layers are visible in the photo. This can be achieved by using fillers such as paper towels or small pieces of cardboard between each layer. Another trick is to use toothpicks or pins to hold the ingredients together in full visibility while also keeping the burger itself stable for the photoshoot.

Or, slide the top bun off a tad like the photo above!

What’s Under All That Food?

When there’s a photo of a large bowl of food such as a salad, chances are the bowl isn’t full of the food being shown. Instead, a “filler” is likely being used such as flour, an upside-down bowl, or foam. Fillers also help to add height and dimension to the photograph.

Make Your Customers Hungry with NTP2

The main goal of food photography is to make the viewer hungry and gain an appetite for the item being shown, leading them to the restaurant or shop the food is from. The dishes being photographed need to look fresh and be presented in a way that appeals to the eye (and stomach).

With my keen eye for detail and attention to the latest trends in food photography, I can deliver high-quality images that will set your restaurant apart from the competition. So, if you're looking to take your restaurant's marketing to the next level, reach out to NTP2 Photography and book a consultation today!

How To Showcase Your Brand’s Colors in Photography

When we are setting the scene for a business branding photography shoot, our main goal is to make sure your branding is captured in the photos. We explain how!

As a business owner, you’ve put a lot of effort into building your brand from the ground up. Now that you have that solid brand identity, you need to make sure you use it across all platforms. When setting the scene for our professional business photoshoot, it’s our main goal to make sure your brand is captured in the process.

Incorporating your brand's colors into your photos can help you establish your brand's identity and create a consistent visual experience for your followers. By choosing the right props, thinking through your outfits, and getting the lighting just right, you can create stunning photos that showcase your brand's personality and style! Here’s how.

Choose the Right Props

Using props in your photos can be a great way to incorporate your brand colors. Look around your office and see what items you have that match your brand's color scheme. For example, if your brand's colors are blue and green, you could use a blue coffee mug or a green succulent as a prop in your photos.

Not only will using props help you incorporate your brand colors, but they can also add some visual interest to your photos. Just make sure the props you choose are relevant to your brand and the message you're trying to convey.

Bonus points if you have props with logos or other branding on them, such as business cards, company clothing, menus, or signage.

Think Through Your Outfits

Another way to incorporate your brand colors is by dressing in your brand's colors. This can be a great option if you're taking photos of yourself or your team. For example, if your brand's colors are red and black, you could wear a red shirt and black pants for your photo shoot.

When choosing your outfits, consider the message you want to convey and the context in which the photos will be used. Dressing in your brand colors can create a cohesive look that reinforces your brand's identity.

Lighting is Key (Hire a Professional Photographer)

Lighting is one of the most important factors to consider when taking photos. If your photos are poorly lit, they can look unprofessional and unappealing. That's why it's important to invest in good lighting and consider hiring a professional photographer.

For example, if you’re a dentist or healthcare professional, you don’t want your photos to seem dark and dingy. Setting up the proper lighting will set the scene to match the clean, professional environment you work in! On the other hand, if you’re a restaurant, you want to convey the warm, comfortable environment people will expect. Lighting plays a much bigger role than you may realize!

Creating Interesting Talking Head Videos

In the world of digital marketing, video content is king. It is engaging, entertaining, and effective in conveying information to your target audience. But it’s not just enough to post any old video to social media, it needs to be engaging.

It’s human nature to gravitate to faces in videos, which is why we see so many “influencers” working with businesses these days. However, you don’t need some internet-famous face in order to get attention to your content!

Today, we will be discussing talking head videos, and explaining why your business needs to take advantage of this format. If you’re looking to produce high-quality videos or photography for your business, call our team at NTP 2 Photography today!

What are Talking Head Videos?

Talking head videos are simply videos of a person speaking to the camera. They can be used for a variety of purposes, such as introducing a company, explaining a product or service, sharing industry insights, or simply engaging with your audience. Not only are these videos engaging on their own, but they can be edited and clipped to be used for other promotional content.

“Why Should My Business Film Talking Head Videos?”

First and foremost, this type of content is a powerful way to establish a personal connection with your audience. People are more likely to trust and connect with a person they can see and hear, rather than a faceless brand.

Secondly, these videos are a versatile form of content that can be used across multiple platforms, from social media to your website. Compared to making multiple types of videos for each platform, talking head videos can be reused and incorporated into many different formats. Because they're relatively easy and cost-effective to produce, they are the perfect addition to any marketing strategy.

Potential clients are much more likely to work with brands that create content showcasing their own staff.

How to Create Engaging & Entertaining Talking Head Videos

So, how can you make your videos more interesting? Here are some tips to consider:

  • Work with a professional photographer: Smartphone cameras these days are great, but you can’t beat the audio and video quality that comes with a professional setup! NTP 2 Photography can film the highest quality content possible for your business, sure to captivate current and potential customers.

  • Choose an interesting backdrop: Instead of shooting against a plain wall, consider using an interesting backdrop that reflects your brand's personality or the topic of the video. This could be a colorful wall, a textured fabric, or a backdrop with your company's logo or branding.

  • Incorporate visuals: While the focus of the video is the speaker, you can incorporate visuals such as images or infographics to enhance the message and keep viewers engaged.

  • Add music or sound effects: Adding music can help set the tone of the video and make it more engaging for viewers.

Make the Most of Your Branding Photos on Social Media

As a business owner, you know the importance of branding and how it can make or break your company's success. That's why investing in a professional photographer is a must. It's the perfect way to showcase your business and make a lasting impression on potential customers.

When you book a branding session with NTP 2 Photography, you'll receive a collection of high-quality snapshots that capture your business's unique style and personality (like this one):

However, you don’t want to just reuse the same images over and over on your social channels! That's why we're here to offer some tips on how to make the most of your branding photos on social media, and keep things looking fresh!

Overlay the Picture with a Color

One quick and easy way to keep things interesting is to elevate your graphics with a transparent color overlay. This can be done using photo editing software or even with Instagram's built-in editing features. Choose a color that complements your color scheme, and apply it over your photo to make it stand out on your social media feed.

You can add to this design by adding a logo or some text over the top of the colored image.

Add it to the Background of Lists

Another way to make the most of your branding shoot is to use the images as the background of lists or infographics. This can help make the information more visually appealing while still being YOU.

Crop it to Look Different

Cropping your photos can also be a great way to keep things fresh and interesting. Try cropping your images in unique ways to create a new perspective. You can focus on a specific part of the photo or zoom in to highlight a particular detail.

This can help what would be a repost, become something that looks brand-new to the audience!

Make them Move

If you only have branding photos to work from, our marketing friends say that you can make a ‘video’ out of the photos using platforms like Canva. This takes a photo and gives it even more visual interest as people scroll on social.

Of course, you can book us for true videos too which can then be shared to your YouTube or other channels.

How Often for New Branding Photos

It's important to keep your photos up to date, we typically recommend at least twice a year; especially when there are major changes with staff or location.
