Business Event Checklist: Remember Event Photography

Capturing the magic of your corporate event is about more than just snapping photos. It’s about preserving moments, telling a story, and ensuring your brand or celebration shines long after the event ends. When you're hosting a business function, hiring a professional event photographer is essential – that way you don’t have to hope somebody in the office took pictures...

In this article, we’ll highlight 5 key reasons why investing in a professional event photographer can make all the difference.

1. A Look into Your Company Culture

A professional photographer doesn’t just capture posed shots; we also focus on candid moments that reflect your company’s culture.

Whether it’s an employee celebrating a milestone or a group collaborating at a team-building event, these photos give your business personality and showcase what it’s really like behind the scenes.

2. It Adds Value to Your Attendees

Guests love seeing themselves enjoying the event, and professional photos offer a great way to add value for them. Sharing high-quality images after the event allows attendees to relive the experience and engage with your brand again.

We can even set it up so that your clients take their photos home with them! NTP 2 has done more photobooth style for brand birthday parties all the way to pictures with Santa at a law firm. Whatever the event, we can make the photography help you stand out. Call and ask for Eric – he'll happily talk through your ideas for an upcoming event.

3. Professional Knowledge and Care

Event photographers have the expertise to handle various lighting situations, venue sizes, and angles. Our experience allows us to capture moments that an amateur is highly likely to miss. When you call our professionals, we’ll make sure all the highlights of your corporate event are covered professionally and beautifully.

4. Branding Photos & Content for Marketing

Every event is an opportunity to create content for your marketing strategy! With professional photos, you’ll have a collection of high-quality images ready to be used on social media, your website, or any other promotional platforms. These images help build your brand and keep your audience engaged.

5. Captures Lasting Memories for You and Your Attendees

Story(Selling) Through Photography: Capturing Moments That Sell

In the realm of photography, capturing an image goes beyond just snapping shots of moments as they happen—it’s about telling a story that resonates with viewers, compelling them to engage, react, or even buy. For businesses, this ability to communicate effectively through photographs is invaluable. Whether it’s for marketing campaigns, online stores, or social media, the power of a well-captured image can significantly influence consumer behavior.

If you're looking to harness photography to boost your business’s appeal, here’s how to create images that don’t just document, but sell.

Crafting the Narrative

Every good photograph tells a story. As a photographer, your task is to think about the narrative you want to convey. What message do you want the viewer to receive? Whether you're showcasing a product, a service, or a brand, think about the elements that will tell that story. Is it the joy of someone using your product? The comfort of your service? Or the luxury associated with your brand? Plan your photoshoots with this narrative in mind.

In practice, this might mean choosing locations, props, and models that align with the message. For product photography, it involves highlighting the product's features that benefit the user, staged in a context that enhances its appeal. For a service, you might focus on the experience or the end result, capturing the satisfaction or the transformation provided.

Understanding Your Audience

Knowing who you are trying to reach is crucial in storytelling through photography. Your target audience will dictate not just the style of your photographs but also their composition, colors, and overall mood. Younger audiences might resonate more with vibrant, energetic photos, while a more mature crowd might appreciate subtlety and sophistication.

Tailor your images to the preferences and expectations of your audience. This connection through visual appeal can make your photographic content much more persuasive and likely to sell.

Focus on Emotion

Emotions sell. A photograph that evokes feelings will always be more effective than one that is merely visually pleasing. When planning your shots, consider what emotions you want to trigger in your viewers. Happiness, nostalgia, peace, excitement—each of these can be conveyed through smart use of lighting, color, and visual composition.

For instance, using warm, soft lighting can create a feeling of warmth and comfort, ideal for family-oriented products or services. On the other hand, bright, harsh lighting can evoke clarity and honesty, which might be perfect for a brand that prides itself on transparency.

The Power of Detail

Sometimes, the smallest details make the biggest impact. Close-up shots that focus on the unique features of a product or highlight the quality of craftsmanship can be very compelling. These details not only show the quality and thought that go into a product but also help the audience appreciate the true value of what they’re potentially buying.

Capturing the Moment That Sells

Ultimately, selling through photography is about capturing moments that tell your story in the most compelling way possible. It’s about making every shot count, with each image crafted to engage the audience and drive them towards a desired action, be it a click, a like, or a purchase. If you’re ready to start story(selling) with your branding photography, give our team at NTP 2 a call today.

How Professional Photography and Video Can Elevate Your Business

As a business owner, no matter your business type or your industry standing, you are most likely always looking at how to improve your sales or how to keep up with the current hot sales trend you’re in. After all, you have big growth goals to achieve this year!

As much as your products and services can speak for themselves, they won’t always do the trick when grabbing a new client’s eye or keeping your customers interested in coming back.

Today, we will explain how professional photography and video services can elevate your business in the eyes of the consumer, ultimately helping your business grow! When you are ready to take that next step, call or book a session with NTP2 Photography today!

Why Does It Matter?

You might be trying hard to advertise online, but are failing to find any traction while doing so. Now, why might this be the case? Take a look at your marketing and compare it to any major fortune 500 company out there. Any differences?

I know what you’re thinking… Surely, I couldn’t achieve the level of professional photography or video that they can, right? WRONG! You certainly can achieve exceptional photos & videos for your own growing business that will compete with any big brand on the market. And, trust me, they will make a huge difference to how your potential clients view you!

Professional photos and videos of your company will help you be memorable in a good way and help to increase your credibility online. That means more business at the end of the day, which is most people’s ultimate goal.

Quality Conveys Quality

Having professional photography and videography done for your business will erase any doubt about your capabilities or reputation. They literally show your value to your prospective clients. Whether it is photography of your products, your storefront, your team, or your office; it directly affects how others view your business’s expertise. (And help determine if people want to spend their hard-earned money with you.)

The quality of your marketing should match the quality of your product or service.

Low or poor-quality photos can make your products appear less desirable compared to other brands to your everyday customer. If a restaurant has amazing food, but the pictures online don’t look appetizing, people simply will order or go out to eat elsewhere.

Show, Don’t Tell

If your business focuses on providing a service for others, you may want to consider professional photos or videos of your services in action. Explaining your business’ purpose to your potential clients can only go so far, it is far more effective to show them.

A great way to accomplish this while advertising your services is to show off your beautiful office and your wonderful team in action on your website or social media. Showing your clients what they may see when they choose you over your competitors in a positive and professional light will always give you the upper hand.

Video’s Effect on Social Media

As time goes on, more and more of our daily media consumption is in video format. Humans are simple, something aesthetically pleasing is moving around on the screen, so we look at it longer!

Videos get over 10 times more shares on average than photos.

When planning out ideas to market your business, try to incorporate video as much as possible along the way. Professional quality video can make a world of difference to both your engagement rate on social media and your client’s perception of your brand. Luckily, we handle both types of projects so you don’t have to search for two quality vendors to help out.

FLEET PORTRAITS BY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER IN GIBSONTON, FL

DRIRITE is based out of Gibsonton, FL and is a restoration cleaning company and also does carpet and floor cleaning. As a expert in branding I take my role very serious when helping a company to showcase their team. We started on a Friday morning early so the crews could still head out on their jobs. Arranging the trucks was going great and then we ran into a few challenges. I know you can't see it in the picture but there was a palm bush that was in the center of the shot in the parking lot that was blocking the center vehicles and where the owners were standing. I attempted to fly the drone in different spots to get it out but in order to see the team well it couldn't be done. Quick thinking we were able to cut it down so it wasn't blocking the shot. After I got the shot I took it into Photoshop to remove the rest of the bush and a few other spots. With the drone being in the air when taking photos it can be rather uncertain of the camera taking since there is no traditional noise or flash going off.

After capturing about 5-6 photos I had the team wave while taking photos and then for good measure took 20-30 seconds of 4k Video Footage. After we sent the crew on their way we went inside the capture the management team. As I have written before most are not for having their photo taken so had to make sure to capture their attention quickly while ensuring the quality was top notch. These portraits are going to be used on their website and social platforms to stay up to date and ahead of their market.

Check out some of the shots that we were able to get and stay up to date with Eric's projects by following him @ntp2photography.
